The Oba Alhaji Akadiri Saliu Momoh IV, Vice President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and Amirul-Mu’minina of Ikare-Akoko, has declared Wednesday, May 27, 2026, as the Eid-el-Adha celebration day.
The monarch directed all Muslim faithful to converge at Lennon Jubilee High School, Ikare-Akoko, for the two-rakat Eid prayer scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
The prayers will be led by Sheikh Temidire, the Grand Chief Imam of Ikare Kingdom.
The announcement was made from the palace of the Olukare of Ikare Kingdom.
