HEALTH: SENATOR JIDE IPINSAGBA FACILITATES ANOTHER MEDICAL OUTREACH FOR ONDO NORTH AS OWO RESIDENTS AWAIT IMPACT
Residents of Ondo North Senatorial District are set to benefit from a three-day free medical outreach dedicated to eye care and specialised ophthalmological services.
The programme, facilitated by the Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Senator Jide Ipinsagba, is scheduled to hold from 20th to 22nd November, 2025.
The outreach, taking place at the General Hospital, Owo, is organised in partnership with the National Productivity Centre and Conclusion Eye Care Limited.
The initiative will offer free eye screenings, eye surgeries, reading glasses, and treatment for a wide range of eye-related conditions.
According to the organisers, the programme is part of ongoing efforts to expand access to quality healthcare across rural and semi-urban communities in the senatorial district.
Medical professionals and eye specialists will be on ground daily, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to attend to participants at no cost.
Senator Ipinsagba, whose image appears on the campaign materials, noted that the outreach underscores his commitment to improving the wellbeing of his constituents, especially those who may not ordinarily have access to specialised eye care services.
Equipment and facilities have already been installed at the venue, with images from preparatory activities showing teams of surgeons and technicians ready for the procedures.
Residents of Owo and neighbouring communities are encouraged to take full advantage of this free medical opportunity.
